Please accept my thanks for your support of the 3rd Annual Building Homes for Heroes Golf Classic. The event was a tremendous success. I’m forever grateful for your assistance in helping the men and women of the military. We’re happy to announce that the golf outing and dinner raised $53,000.

One of the highlights of the event was hearing a videotaped thank you from Naval Reservist Pete Herrick from the study of his new home. Thanks to your contributions, Pete, his wife Diana, and their two children, moved into this beautiful home early in 2007.

Those in attendance were able to meet a few of our heroes, Mary Herrera, Josh Forbess and Tracy Reep, who shared stories of returning home with severe injuries, and the challenges they faced along the rode to recovery. These are just a few, among tens of thousands, who have returned home from Iraq and Afghanistan with debilitating injuries. They need our help.

As these brave men and women continue to give so much to our country, let’s continue to honor and support them in return. We hope that we can count on your support during this year’s golf classic and at future events. Thank you for all of your support, friendship and patriotism.
