5K Run/Walk
Thank you to all who participated, volunteered or came down to support the Rockland Lake Heroes Run 5K.

Building Homes for Heroes held its second Heroes Run 5K run/walk on June 8, 2008 at Rockland Lake State Park in Congers, NY.  Close to 200 runners or walkers attended.  Retired Army Corporal J.R. Martinez of Dalton, Georgia was the guest honoree at the event which raised over $7,000.  All proceeds will be used to help fund the building of a home for a very needy military family.  Special thanks to Bill McDonald, Charles Russo, Tom Lynch, Jon Sigillito, Tony Sigillito Steve Barry, Joe Casarella, Barry’s Estate Jewelry, DeCicco’s Family Markets, Jacob J.
